Newmar Telecom, manufcturing partner to GFS Power, introduces the Sentinel, a 1RU DC Power System, with Built-in Load Distribution and SNMP Monitor.
The 1RU (1.75”) rack mount shelf accommodates three 600 watt hot swap power rectifiers at -48 VDC producing 33 amps, 1800 watts, total system output capacity.
Sentinel features 4 DC circuit breaker distribution along with master disconnects breakers for two battery banks, all with tripped breaker alarms. The digital controller provides display of all system parameters and has TCP/IP interface and SNMP monitoring/logging. The system also provides alarm contacts to report major out of tolerance operation. A built-in Low Voltage Disconnect protects batteries from extreme discharge.
Jeff Wright, Newmar Telecom National Sales Manager says about the new Sentinel Power System, “The abundance of system features in a low 1RU profile makes the Sentinel system ideal for low power -48 VDC applications such as broadband, cellular and microwave.” It easily configures to meet your site power requirements.
